society can be formed with a minimum of 12 members but there is no maximum
limit. Initially all the unit holders come together to form an Housing Society.
Housing society can be established in two ways, with co-operation or without
co-operation.
WITH CO-OPERATION......
In this type of with
cooperation, the builder or developer takes the initiative to establish a
housing society of unit holders. Such Housing Societies are formed where
the builder or developer is honest.
WITHOUT CO-OPERATION......
In this type of without
cooperation, if the builder or developer takes the initiative and refuses to
form a housing society of the unit holders, then all the unit holders come
together to form the housing society. Such Housing Societies are formed where
the builder or developer is dishonest.
